Every year I await the Pictoplasma festival with great excitement. Could help the fact that this festival happen usually to meet with the beginning of the good weather but mostly it is because I just love character design, it’s so much fun. Dichtung Fontanera, the unexpected craziness

edittegg

Made in Wedding is a small gallery in one of the less developed corners of Wedding. The intersection of the Soldinerstr and the Koloniestr is the heart of a Kiez with bad reputation and little signs of cultural development. Xenakis is known for his use of algorithms and complex maths in his compositions and there is no shortage of that here. In saying that while there was obviously a lot of research and technical development involved in producing this installation the whole experience still feels quite organic and alive, a very enjoyable experience.

Art in Wedding 1 – Galerie Patrick Ebensperger

Galerie Patrick Ebensperger is hosting its first exhibition since moving to its new location: the old crematorium chapel, Plantagestrasse in Wedding. The space itself and the surroundings are imbued with quietness. The abandoned area of the crematorium (soon to be an art and cultural centre) and the adjacent graveyard give an interesting and sinister touch to this beautiful corner of Wedding. This moving environment makes even better the experience of meeting fine contemporary art.

On the way to Stattbad Wedding

Pictures of things that catch my eye when I´m walking around Wedding
